Product Description
The W-shape of SKL14 rail clip provides safety. To meet the required track resistance, two highly elastic, independently acting spring arms steadily press the track down. The middle bend acts as additional tilt protection. With its high fatigue strength, it resists the dynamic vertical movement caused by the vehicle rolling on the track. This spring clip is commonly used in Vossloh’s W14 railway fastening system.
Performance Characteristics Of SKL Rail clips
- High buckling pressure: When the spring deformation is 13mm, a single clip can provide a buckling pressure of 2×10kN=20kN, which can effectively prevent the longitudinal and lateral movement of the rail relative to the sleeper, ensure the normal track gauge, and maintain the stability of the track.
- Good elasticity: The W-shaped design makes the spring clip have high elasticity, which can effectively absorb the impact energy generated by the passing of the train, reduce the vibration and noise of the track, and extend the service life of the track components.
- High fatigue strength: After strict heat treatment and quality control, SKL14 spring clips can withstand 5 million fatigue tests without breaking, and can work stably under long-term repeated alternating stress, ensuring the safety and reliability of the track.
- Low maintenance cost: Due to its reasonable structural design, under normal use conditions, SKL14 spring clips and screws and other components that match it are not easy to loosen, and the middle bend can also prevent the spring arm from plastic deformation, achieving maintenance-free or less maintenance, reducing the maintenance cost of railway operation.
Gnee has 8 automatic railway clip production lines, which realize automatic loading, hot forming and heat treatment of railway clips, with a maximum output of 120,000 PC/day. The SKL14 rail clips supplied by Gnee are currently also used in railway construction in many countries and regions around the world.
