The following are frequently asked questions about QU120 track. If you have other questions, please feel free to contact us.
What scenarios are QU120 rails suitable for?
Heavy industry scenarios: continuous casting workshops in steel plants, hot rolling line cranes (lifting ladles and billets);
Port machinery: shore container cranes (quay cranes), tire-type yard cranes (RTGs);
Large projects: nuclear power equipment hoisting, heavy machinery manufacturing workshops.
Is customization required? How long is the delivery cycle?
The standard length is 12.5m or 25m, and common specifications are in stock; special lengths (such as extra-long rails) or surface heat treatment requirements require customization, and the delivery cycle is usually 4-8 weeks.
What is the difference from QU80 and QU100 rails?
Size difference: QU120 rail head width is 120mm (QU100 is 100mm, QU80 is 80mm), and rail height, bottom width and other parameters are also larger (such as QU120 rail height 150mm, bottom width 120mm).
Load capacity: QU120 is suitable for super heavy cranes with wheel load ≥300 tons, QU100/QU80 is suitable for medium and heavy cranes (100-300 tons)
Can it be used in high temperature or corrosive environments?
High temperature scenarios (such as metallurgical workshops, long-term 50-100℃): U75V material has excellent heat softening resistance and can be used stably;
Corrosive environments (such as coastal ports): Additional galvanizing or anti-corrosion coating is required, and regular rust removal can extend the service life by 5-8 years.
