Crane rail hook bolt is a key high-strength fastener specially used for anchoring crane operating rails. Crane rails installed on beams or channels are usually fixed with J hook bolts. It firmly fixes the rail system to the concrete foundation or steel structure foundation, ensuring that the rail maintains precise position and stability under the dynamic load of the crane (such as wheel pressure, impact, lateral force, thermal expansion and contraction), which is the basic guarantee for the safe operation of the crane.
The fixing method of the hook bolt is to drill holes on the rail network, the hole spacing is usually 24 inches (about 60 cm), and the holes are drilled in pairs with a hole spacing of 3 to 4 inches (about 7.6 to 10.1 cm). Hook bolts are individually designed according to the rail section and beam size.

Installation and Maintenance Of J Hook Bolt
Installation
Preparation: Check the bolt specifications, clean the installation surface of oil and residue.
Positioning: Mark the hole position according to the drawing, the drilling depth is 10~20mm longer than the bolt, the hole diameter is 2~3mm larger, and the hook head hooks the embedded part at the bottom of the track beam.
Tightening: After the bolt is inserted, fix it with a pressure plate, tighten the nut symmetrically 2~3 times, and expose 2~3 threads.
Maintenance
Daily inspection: Check the looseness, wear, rust prevention and pressure plate gap of the bolt every week.
Regular maintenance: Re-tighten the nut every quarter (according to the designed torque), and apply anti-rust paint after rust removal.
Abnormal handling: Bolts with thread slippage and deformation need to be replaced immediately, and embedded holes with wear are repaired with grouting materials.
Annual inspection: Magnetic particle inspection is performed every year to detect internal cracks in the bolts.
